Welcome to the Music and Arts page of Mt. Sinai UCC’s web site. Whether you see yourself as a listener or a music maker, we are delighted you are curious enough about our on-going programs and special events to spend a little time browsing the descriptions below. Two of our ensembles meet weekly for rehearsals while others gather regularly, but less frequently, to prepare for leading music in Sunday morning worship, for Church School, for our Sunday evening Serenity Service (for those in recovery, their friends and families) and other seasonal events. 

Our services feature music in a variety of styles and origins, an assortment of instruments and voices in various combinations, according to what the worship themes seem to suggest. Whatever the venue, those who participate in Music and Arts at Mt. Sinai UCC humbly strive for excellence and meaning while remaining gratefully mindful of the Creator – the giver of all gifts and for whose glory we offer our passion, our talents, our faithfulness, our lives. Chancel Choir welcomes all youth and adults who want to sing choral music. A love of singing and the personal dedication to attend weekly rehearsals and Sunday worship are the only requirements for participation. It is advantageous, though not necessary however, for singers to have had some prior choral experience. 

When does Chancel Choir rehearse? Thurs., 7:30-9:00 pm
